**Limited Offer, Freebie**

*What a fun idea!*
The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something made by me- my choice!  This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantees you will like what I make!  (I can only hope!)
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done sometime this year.
4. You have no clue what it's going to be... it may be cards, a bookmark, something delicious, or a complete surprise to you (and me)!  Who knows?
5. Most importantly, you must offer the same deal on your blog.  The first 5 people to comment on your blog get something made by YOU!

A Boy and His Guitar

Rick started playing the guitar almost a year ago and Owen absolutely LOVES the guitar. He loves to listen to it, see it, touch it, eat it. Seriously, if I'm holding Owen and we walk by the guitar his eyes get wide and he tries to jump out of my arms and get the guitar. So Rick likes to have little jam sessions with Owen. Owen uses the ukelele because it's more his size and I think it's just the cutest thing.

Happy Half Birthday!

Six months earlier... (he's so tiny!)

Today our little guy turned 6 months old. We told him he's not allowed to get any bigger. He just laughed at us. We hope that means he agreed. We can't believe how fast the time has gone by and how much our little baby has grown. He is the best thing in the world and we can't imagine life without him.

We love you, Owen!

So Big

Owen got these Wall-E pajamas for Christmas.  The tag says they're 12 months, but I took them out of the drawer and they're smaller than some of his 6 month-sized clothes.  These pajamas look more like "little boy" pajamas compared to the footed sleepers he usually wears.  He just looks so grown up in these.

He also has tried out his high chair and I am happy to report that he likes it.  He's still just a little guy, so he slides down a bit while in the chair, but he'll grow into it soon.  He is definitely happy to be able to sit up all the way while he eats.

On a side note, I'll give an update on my mom's condition.  Two weeks ago she found out that her tumor is completely gone and she is  all done with her chemo!!! Yay!!!!  She is having surgery tomorrow and after that she'll have radiation treatment.   Thank you for all of your prayers and good thoughts.  Miracles DO happen and prayers are heard.

Here are some pictures from last week of my little man. Enjoy.

[insert clever title here]

Our little Owen is growing up so fast! He wants so desperately to sit up on his own - and he's almost there. Whenever we feed him his rice cereal we put him in his bouncy seat or swing. Both seat backs are at an incline. This has worked well for the past few weeks. However, the past few nights Owen has pushed himself up on his elbows so that he is sitting up while he's eating. So, today I went to Target and bought him a high chair so that he doesn't have to struggle so much. :) Of course, here it is, 10:30 at night and he's decided to sleep through his feeding time so I - oops, I mean HE - can't try out his new chair!  Go figure...

He's also been doing this new thing that's really cute. Whenever he's sitting propped up and sometimes when he's lying down, he crosses his ankles. He's so proper. :) Here are a few of the latest pictures.
