I'm jumping back in the saddle and couldn't be more excited!

6 month stats

Height: 27 inches
Weight: 16 lbs. 15 oz.
Head Circumference: 17 inches

Lexie had her check up today and was very brave. She only cried after her second shot. Owen was also very brave and didn't cry at all this time. He hid behind the curtain do he wouldn't have to see. Last time Lexie had her shots I stayed with Owen in the waiting room and Rick took her in to the room. Owen cried the entire time we waited because he was concerned about his sister, so today was a huge leap forward.

New Tricks: Sitting up by herself, scooting backwards on her tummy

Habits: Only takes short naps during the day; puts up a big fight when she's tired and almost asleep;
MUST be touching someone while she's sleeping or else she wakes up; sleeps in mommy and daddy's bed for the above reason; eats bananas, pears and oatmeal

Mother's Day

I feel so blessed to be the mother of these sweet, sweet babies.

6 Months

Lexie was 6 months old on Monday. The time is just flying by!

She had her first taste of solid food (bananas) and she loved it! She slept much more soundly

 because she had a full tummy. She can sit up with help and is starting to babble a lot. She stillnly takes short cat naps throughout the day, but she is my sleeping in girl which means that I sleep in until 9 or 10 a.m. too. She's a girl after my own heart.  We love our little Lexie girl!
