Fun with Pictures

Yesterday I took my favorite photo subject outside to test out my new camera, the Canon Rebel T1i from here.  So far I really love it.  I have yet to test out the HD video, but am excited to try it.  Here are a few of the pictures I took yesterday.  I still have a lot to learn, but it was really fun getting started.

And notice the quality of the pictures... I got a NEW camera!!!  I've been wanting one since forever and Rick surprised me for Mother's day(and my birthday...and maybe Christmas too).  Brace yourselves... LOTS of pictures will be coming your way as I experiment with my new obsession.

Tough Guy

The other day Owen was trying to make a "mean" face for the camera.  It was quite amusing.

1st Attempt: Not too convincing... looks more like Elvis.

 2nd Attempt: A little bit better, but the eyes are closed a too much.

3rd Time's the charm!
