It's a Bird...It's a Plane...

It's BUZZ LIGHTYEAR

The other day we were driving in the car and Owen said, "MOMMY!!!  BUZZ!!"

Confused, I said, "What?"

Owen: "Mommy, Buzz in the SKY!!"

I looked up and noticed a plane flying across the sky, leaving a trail behind.

Me: "Ohhhh.... you see Buzz Lightyear in the sky?"

Owen:"Yeah... Flying in the sky!  Buzz.... where going?"

Me: "I think he's going to go see Woody."

Owen: "Oooooh...  Buzz...fly....see Woody."

I love that Owen is starting to use his imagination.

Just for the record...

I just wanted to take a moment to record things that Owen says/does right now so that I don't forget them.


Favorites:

Food - Trader Joe's Yogurt, "beebee oranges" (mandarin oranges), CHEESE, spoonfuls of peanut butter, blueberries, fruit snacks, cheese "noon-ees" (noodles).  He is VERY picky and rarely eats "regular" food. 

Interests - Going to the park, Playdoh, looking for snails/bugs, airplanes, running, jumping, "zoom-zooms" (cars), Disneyland

Shows/Movies - The Little Mermaid.  He thinks that Skuttle the seagull is the funniest thing ever and he is mesmerized by "Ur-see-luh" the "ah-puss". (Ursula the octopus)

Up. He describes it like this, "Boons....(balloons)...flying up....boo-dee (birdie) eating cannee (candy)...[laughter] nice doggies....Ah-pane (airplane)... bimp (blimp)!!!"  [laughter]

He also still likes to watch Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and any of the Toy Story movies.  He calls Toy Story 3 the "scah-wee (scary) monkey one". 

Stats: about 36/37 inches tall; 26 lbs, size 24 months/2T clothes, size 6 shoes
